About Kaitlin

Kaitlin is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Kaitlin is open to offering sessions at a reduced fee for new clients - for more information please reach out to Kaitlin by phone or email. 
 
Kaitlin has always had a passion for helping and supporting others through the challenges and difficult moments that they encounter in life. Approaching clients with compassion, warmth, openness, understanding, and acceptance, she recognizes both the strength and uncertainty that comes with reaching out for help and being vulnerable. She believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and in creating a safe space that will cultivate positive change and promote healing.

Kaitlin values the uniqueness of all clients and believes that each client is the expert of their own life. With the belief that you know what is truly best for yourself, she strives to help you explore your strengths, feel empowered in your life, and reach your goals. Her intention is to meet her clients where they are and work collaboratively to foster lasting change and lifelong resilience. Whatever your counselling journey may be, Kaitlin feels honoured to walk alongside you and hold space for you to grow. 
Kaitlin is available to work with children (10 and up), youth, and adults around a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationships, stress, grief, trauma, body image, and more. She adapts her approach to support the individual’s unique journey, drawing from several therapeutic modalities, including mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Kaitlin also offers Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
